In order to combat the development of the epidemic, in recent days, we have urgently mobilized all employees, abandoned holiday rest time, and worked overtime 24 hours in shifts to achieve the daily production capacity of 80000 medical masks. "On February 5th, Sun Zhiguo, Deputy General Manager of Jilin Fran Medical Technology Co., Ltd., said in an interview with reporters.
Jilin Fran Medical Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 and is one of the larger medical device enterprises in the three provinces of Northeast China. It mainly develops and produces medical bag series, medical dressing series, medical non-woven fabric series, and medical absorbent cotton series products.
Starting from the end of January 2020, in order to fight against novel coronavirus pneumonia, Fran Medical Technology adheres to the spirit of "people first, dedication to society", adjusts human and material resources, and goes all out to produce medical masks. Recently, due to the increase in raw material prices, the cost of masks has increased. However, the company adheres to the belief of serving the overall situation and maintains the original selling price. Although it has brought some losses, it has not affected the company's pace of overtime production. In the process of fighting against the epidemic and overtime production, governments at all levels of the province, Changchun city, and district have given high attention and support, dispatching public security, fire protection, and other on-site guarantees, especially the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to send dedicated personnel to provide on-site services, and coordinate and solve problems encountered in production and operation.
Sun Zhiguo said that while ensuring the original production capacity, the company is planning to invest in a new production workshop project for masks, with a planned production capacity of 250000 pieces per day. Currently, it is under orderly construction. The equipment is expected to enter the factory on February 20th, and after necessary equipment debugging and personnel training, it is expected to be put into production by the end of February.
